Well I've been yelled at by a few people because yesterday marked one month since my last update. So for all of you who actually care, here is a bit about today.

A few days ago I got invited to attend a TKD tournament which was going to be held on Saturday (today). I agreed, perhaps foolishly, and set about the task of learning my form. What I also found out last minute (like this morning) was that I had to memorize the proper way to bow into the ring, what to say to the judges, how to attend ready stance, ect ect.... long story short I definately forgot and messed up before I even got to start my form.

So anyway, I stayed up most of the night practicing, and decided sleeping for only 1 or 2 hours was pointless so I just read until it was 8:00. At 8:30 we left in a large car pool for a two hour drive to JMU (James Madison University). I competed along with all the other white, orange, and yellow belts. In the end I placed 2nd in forms, not bad considering I had no idea what I was doing lol.

VT and JMU made up most of the competitors, although there were a few scattered particpants (like the only kid who beat me). For the most part VT kicked ass, taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in most of the sparring divissions. When everone was done we all went out to eat together and began the long drive home.

Friday I saw home for the first time since college started! Oddly it didn't quite feel like the same "home" anymore. Not at first anyway, but by the end of the vacation I was starting to miss it already.

It was awesome to see people from work again, even if we ended up watching a football game I didn't really care much about. Bowling with Winston and Ann was great, even though I only won two out of three games. I think the important thing is that Winston didn't win a single one. Getting sick sucked, I still blame Drew for that, but I'm starting to feel a bit better at least. Breakfast with Kat was fun, thanks for showing me what a cube of oatmeal tastes like. (Mental Note: Appletree is closed on Mondays). And I finally got to see Serenity! Wow that was awesome...I'm not gonna say much in case someone hasn't seen it yet.

Also got to see much of the family together which was a first in awhile. People came over for my 19th, and I got to see others through out the weekend as well. I also got my first hair cut in almost three months...that feels good.

Of course, as fast as it came it ended. I miss you guys already! Looking forward to coming back on Thanksgiving.

Ok so Friday was kinda of bland. Had no classes so I got to catch up on some studying and whatnot. Friday night I finally agreed to go out with Justin and Clinger. Charlotte and two other guys came out with us also. The six of us spent quite some time wandering around socializing until we finally found a party to hit. As it turns out I ended up spending 20 minutes or so there before I started to get a sick feeling from the smell of it all. I told them thanks for a "fun time" and headed out on my own. Wandering around the streets of Blacksburg at 1:00 is kind of fun in and of itself. Got to see a lot of humorous things, including a drunk kid trying to pick a fight with me.When he did swing to try and punch me I evaded and shoved him to the ground. By the time he actually got up I had already walked off. I hope he didn't take it out on someone else. The bus ride home was kind of fun too. Lots of drunken people screaming cheers for the Hokies and dissing Ohio (who we were playing in Football on Saturday).

Saturday was sort of interesting also. I went to the football game with Justin. The two of us were the only ones who got lucky enough to randomly recieve free tickets. I'm not usually into Football and I even offered my ticket to Clinger, although I did it in a way that he ended up turning it down lol. He went to watch the game with Charlotte on tv instead. Funny thing is the game wasn't on tv lol. Justin and I sat together. Actually we stood, all the students were standing and hollering the whole time. Anyway like I said, I'm usually not that into Football but it was kind of fun cheering as we crushed Ohio 45 - 0. Everyone around screaming together and high fiving complete strangers whenever the Hokies intercepted a poorly passed ball thrown by Ohio...it was a little fun. That leaves us undefeated at 3 - 0 and puts us in 4th place in the AP. Saturday night they all went out partying again but I decided I'm back to passing on those oportunities. I was still on the computer in the morning after Drew went to sleep but I couldn't help but laugh a little when the fire alarm went off at 5:30. After standing outside for 15 minutes or so he went back in and to sleep again. I finished typing up some stuff and read until 7:00 or so.

Long boring entry? Oops I'm sorry...

So due to a funeral that one of my professors was attending I had a little more freetime today than I'm used too. There was a blood drive at the Student Center and it's been almost 6 months since my last donation which is weird for me, so I stopped in to donate. When I got back I tried doing my Calculus homework and realized that a combination of light headedness and Calc wasn't helping anything, so I decided to give it up for a little while...
